This has to be the most accurate item concerning this subject I have ever received! Thx Wyllow you rock soul sista
HER DIARY: Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it. Conversation wasn’t flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn’t say much. I asked him what was wrong; he said, “Nothing”. I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn’t upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it. On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can’t explain his behavior. I don’t know why he didn’t say, “I love you, too”. When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent. Finally, with silence all arou nd us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep - I cried. I don’t know what to do. I’m almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.
HIS DIARY: Harley wouldn’t start today, but at least I got laid.

Have you ever had one of those work hard play hard weekends? Lot’s of time in the sun and water? Part of yesterday afternoon and today I had the oddest phenomena happen, I was zapped by the sun is my only explanation. I drank all kinds of water this weekend, plenty. Yesterday afternoon I started getting punchy, like my body and brain wouldn’t engage and do what I asked it to do. I stuttered and slurred my speech (not a single beer did I have this weekend) and was not able to move in a literal physical sense. My brain would say step and my feet wouldn’t move. Spent time in the park and lots of time at the river with friends and family. I doubt I was suffering from dehydration because I really kept well hydrated. I wonder what the symptoms sun stroke are?
I feel great now, had a gas of a weekend…… Just a strange feeling like I was Stuttering John from Stern.

This song makes me cry every time I hear it
She was staring out the window of their SUV
Complaining, saying “I can’t wait to turn 18″
She said “I’ll make my own money, and I’ll make my own rules”
Mamma put the car in park out there in front of the school
Then she kissed her head and said “I was just like you”
You’re gonna miss this
You’re gonna want this back
You’re gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you’re gonna miss this
Before she knows it she’s a brand new bride
In a one-bedroom apartment, and her daddy stops by
He tells her “It’s a nice place”
She says “It’ll do for now”
Starts talking about babies and buying a house
Daddy shakes his head and says “Baby, just slow down”
Cause you’re gonna miss this
You’re gonna want this back
You’re gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you’re gonna miss this
Five years later there’s a plumber workin’ on the water heater
Dog’s barkin’, phone’s ringin’
One kid’s cryin’, one kid’s screamin’
And she keeps apologizin’
He says “They don’t bother me.
I’ve got 2 babies of my own.
One’s 36, one’s 23.
Huh, it’s hard to believe, but…
You’re gonna miss this
You’re gonna want this back
You’re gonna wish these days hadn’t gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you’re gonna miss this”

Evaluating Media
Fresh Mind
There is a lot of information available to us at this time in history, more than ever before, and it travels fast. We are able to learn in the blink of an eye about something that happened halfway around the world, and it’s natural for us to want to know what’s going on. However, it’s also fair to say that we don’t want to become so caught up in one way of looking at events that we lose perspective. Often, the news comes to us in a very fear-oriented format, and when too many of us get caught up in fear, the balance of the whole is disrupted. It helps to remember that we have a much greater and more positive impact on the world when we maintain our inner sense of peace and joy.
We are aware enough to know when we are eating something that is not good for us, because we don’t feel well after we’ve eaten it. In the same way, we can determine for ourselves whether the sources in which our information comes are ultimately healthful. News can be presented in a way that inspires us to take positive action to help the world, or it can be presented in a way that leaves us feeling powerless and sad. It is up to us to seek out and support media that empowers and informs us, and to say no to media that drains our energy and our hope.
For a time, it may even be of benefit to commit to a media fast, in which we stop taking information in for a time to give ourselves a rest. When we return to the task of taking in and processing the information all around us, we will come to it with a fresh mind. This will enable us to really notice how we are affected by what we hear and see, and to make conscious choices about the sources of information that we allow into our lives.

The number of personal computers in use around the world has exceeded 1 billion and will double by 2014, with most growth coming from developing markets, according to Gartner research released Monday.
A 12 percent annual increase would amount to more than 2 billion PCs in use by 2014, according to a report that counted installed machines rather than laptops and desktops sold.
Emerging markets will account for 70 percent of the next billion PCs to come online, Gartner analysts suggested. They named dropping prices and improved Internet access as factors driving that trend.
Fifty-eight percent of today’s PCs are owned by U.S., European, and Japanese users, Gartner found.
This year, some 180 million computers, or 16 percent of those currently in use globally, will be retired.
“We estimate a fifth of these, or some 35 million PCs, will be dumped into landfill with little or no regard for their toxic content,” Meike Escherich, principal research analyst at Gartner, said in a statement. The challenge of disposing safely of electronics waste will also expand in developing markets in the coming years, she added.

I stayed awake watching you tube and contemplating the amazing and funny linguistics of Master George Carlin until sunrise. In the midst of some sadness and morning I also found some great joy knowing he’s on a great adventure! Master George changed my life, how I perceived and didn’t perceive things and he did it all with laughter. That’s a pretty tall fucking order don’t you think? Thanks GC, thank you forever.

PS I better get some sleep tonight……

I was recently hired to remaster the first two Catch 22 Records by the band and the management who represents them. I wanted to write about this yesterday but the session went 11 hours, by the time we finished the session I was to tired. This could really be a good thing having an engineering credit on a major punk re-release. I was fortunate that the original masters were done very well in the recording stage back in the mid 80’s so I had some quality clay to reshape. The second Ep’s remix and remaster came out flawless, it sounds as good as anything you hear on the radio today. The first EP I had “less quality clay” to work with so there’s a few production holes but you do what you can.
The artwork and pressing will be complete in approximately 60 days and will credit Dinofond and 1st engineer and mastering engineer. I hope it does well, it has the potential to be a monuments stepping stone in my engineering career. I would love to be completely out of the information systems sector and working in engineering full time.

Well well well, what a nice surprise! This morning I went on probably my 18 or 19th audition since I started looking for work again as a musician. Most of the cats I have auditioned for here just cant play or sing, I’m used to a higher caliber of talent. I haven’t had a “paying gig” on over two years, I get bored quickly playing OPM (other peoples music). I walk into this audition this morning set up a minimal rig: My new Mesa Boogie Lone Star, a tube screamer, vox vintage wha and my trusty Strat named Baby (been playing her for years). The Boogie sounds good under my unholy guitar fingers no matter what so off the starting line I have dope ass tone from Heaven.
First song we play is Heaven (no pun intended) by Los lonely boys, I never played it before but it’s simple I IV V structure easy so I nailed it! Then we go on and play Evil Ways by Santana, I have been playing this song for 20 years so of course I smoked that like a cheap reefer. These guys play really well so I was pleased and the singing, top notch professionals with beautiful formative two part harmony. I jumped in and sang the tenor section of Evil ways, after reviewing my portable digital recorder I was even surprised. We have some serious chemistry going with a tenor on the 3rd part.
I received a call about 10 minutes ago, they want me to come back again but they are not considering anyone else at this time. Looks like I got the gig! I just hope I don’t get to bored.
